In our todays dynotest we have the brandnew Subaru WRX STI MY2015 equipped with our CRTEK2 pakage. The Chip-Racing CRTEK2 for the previous Subaru Models is very well known for it’s performance, driveability, durability and last but not least, for being 100% street legal in Switzerland. Of course, the CRTEK2 for the newest generation of the STI family is street legal as well!

Modifications

After a few dynoruns in stock trim we installed the Invidia exhaust along with the AEM intake and started mapping the Subaru STI. Since Subaru is still using the EJ25 engine, the results are no big surprise:

green line:         original                           296.9hp / 406.5Nm

blue line:           CRTEK2                          364.4hp / 504Nm

Verdict

The newest generation of Subarus rally legend shows some healthy numbers in stock trim! Our CRTEK2 adds around 65hp and almost 100Nm to the already good engine, but it’s still not quite the same gain we had on the 2008-2014 model. Main reason for this is the new EURO6 emission regulation!
